Shopping Hacks to Win Big This Black Friday

Whether you’re an experienced fashionista or first-time Black Friday shopper, it helps to know the tools of the trade. It’s one of the biggest shopping days and having some tips and tricks can help you avoid feeling overwhelmed. Here are few shopping hacks you ought to know about.

The Online Discount

Online retailers don’t happen to like you leaving stuff in your cart, so as a friendly reminder, they send you an incentive to help you complete the purchase. If you’re doing some online shopping this year, you can fill up your digital cart and then, log out to receive an automatic discount. Just make sure you have an account with the retailer first. Toys ‘R Us, Bed Bath and Beyond, JC Penney, and Crocs.com have all been known to utilize this online discount! Pretty neat, huh?

The Retail Store

Here’s a heads up if you’re heading out: It’s going to be crowded. That means you’ll want to avoid the main aisles in most stores if you can. If you want to be at the top of your game, scout out each store the day before so you can plan your route. An even better idea? Some stores allow you to bring your own reusable bags and even offer bags for your shopping experience. Ditch the cart this year, which will make getting around much easier.

This Family Farm Has the Perfect Pumpkin for You

Green Acres is the place to be, right? When you live in Cary, it’s the place to be, especially when it comes to getting into the spirit of the season! Their pumpkins range in price from $2 to $20. You can pay by cash or check, but they use the honor system. When you’ve found the perfect pumpkin, simply slip your money in their mailbox. Then, let the fun begin! Take your pumpkin home and try your hand at a fancy carving pattern or tie on that apron and check out some yummy pumpkin recipes!

Family-owned and operated, Green Acres is a wholesome place for some wholesome fun and it’s one of the reasons why this place is so incredibly charming.
